Delete Your Account
Remove your Geeran account and associated data at any time.
You can delete your Geeran account whenever you like. Deletion is permanent — once your account is removed you can no longer sign in with it.
App name: Geeran (developer: KYNSL).
Delete from inside the app
The fastest way is directly in the app:
- Sign in to Geeran on the web or in the mobile app.
- Open Profile, then Privacy & Controls.
- Choose Delete account and confirm.
Request deletion by email
If you can no longer sign in, email support@geeran.app from the address on your account with the subject “Delete my account”. We verify ownership and complete the deletion within 30 days.
What is deleted
- Your sign-in credentials, so the account can no longer be used.
- Your profile details: name, photo, bio, phone number, and location.
- Open help requests, offers, garage-sale listings, and invitations.
What may be kept, and for how long
- Messages you sent stay visible to the member you spoke with, shown as “Deleted Member”, so their conversation history stays readable.
- Ratings and completed-help history are kept in anonymized form to protect community trust.
- Records we must keep for safety, fraud prevention, or legal reasons are retained only as long as required, then deleted.
- Routine backups are purged on their normal rotation, within 90 days.
